Our Love Story

We met at church in 1981 and were married that very same year. We have been happily married for 39 years and together we have been together in ministry from the very beginning. We love each other, our family, and Joshua’s Place Church.

Our Family

We are proud parents of three daughters: Hannah, Katlyn, and Olivia. Plus, we have two great Son-In-Laws: Timothy and Jeremy. However, our favorite roles are that of Pop and DD. We have three beautiful grandchildren: Bethel, Samuel, and Daniel. Plus, one on the way.

Our Mission

In 1990 God moved us to Jackson, Georgia. This was a move of faith as we simply felt led by God to move from Atlanta to this small town. However, the purpose of this move soon began to unfold as we started Bible Studies in our home and in 2000 we planted Joshua’s Place Church. With our complimentary gifts of preaching and leading worship, the church soon began to grow.

Our mission has and always will be to see the lost found, the bound set free, and ultimately, people of all races, backgrounds, and walks of life experience the love of God and a place where they belong. Throughout the twenty years of Joshua’s Place Church we have stayed committed to seeing transformation happen in lives and individuals raised up to become all they have been called to be in Christ. Furthermore, we have remained outreach focused and always choose to serve our community, making it a better place.

We have stay committed and passionate for the mission and vision of Joshua’s Place Church. In addition to leading our church and loving our family, you can find us hosting WATC TV, preaching at various events, and ultimately, serving their community!
